Hi All,
I'm trying to create a facade where horizontal metal angles are distributed in different ways. Some parts have consistent Y spacing. Others the spacing increases incrementally on the Y axis. This was easy enough to achieve using the incremental Y spacing macro. I altered the expression slightly but it has the same effect. This can be seen in the first screenshot.
There is a section where we would like the spacing to get smaller the closer it gets to the midpoint of the Y Spline. I've tried a number of things which haven't really worked. So in the end I have divided up the areas, inverted the formula so to speak and used a combination of the two nodes to achieve the effect. This can be seen in the second screenshot.
I'm wondering if there is a way to do this without dividing up the areas. Since the final model I'm working on needs to have blanks for windows and things I've used clipping areas. However if there are better or simpler ways to achieve this then I'm all ears.
Test file attached for reference.
Thanks in advance for any help you are able to provide.

He we have some arithmetic macros which might be useful for You in this case:

Hope You can find suitable parameters, if not let us know and we will try to come up with something.

Ah I saw those but it never crossed my mind to think they would be useful!
That's actually massively simplified the whole thing
Thanks so much!
