Vertial Clipping Area
« on: August 11, 2014, 10:19:34 AM »
Hi!
I'd like to place tiles not on a floor but on a wall, so I create a rectangular shape like clippling area and I draw it along the vertical wall.

But any tiles appear because they are projected along Z axis. When I check "Extend to X/Y Size to Area" the projection drop down menu is obscured.

There si something I have to set? Or I have to create like a floor and rotate all the RailClone object 90 degrees?

Thank you.

Hi,

The clipping path uses the RailClone object's local axes to determine the X/Y area, so you must rotate the RC object to align with a vertical spline. If you don't want to do this manually you can click the Realign button from the base objects rollout to automatically align the RailClone object with the Clipping Spline.

I hope that helps.

Kind regards,

Paul
