Weld vertices not working in adaptive mode
« on: January 22, 2016, 02:58:18 PM »
Building a simple wall in adaptive mode, added some corners and padded them to fit, roughly.   Thought I'd switch on the weld vertices to fix the gap,  but it doesn't look like it's working correctly.

You can see where I want to close up the corner vertices in the first image.

But there's something not right here.

Please, would you upload a simplificated scene or send it to support@itoosoft.com ?
Thanks.

Hi Carlos,
Attached file, stripped down to the offending generator.

Hi, it seems a bug of our welding algotithm with this particular geometry. I've logged the problem to fix it.

Please, try applying a standard "Welder" modifier. It has the same effect, just RC uses a simplificated mode which is a bit faster.
