Title: What is the official line direction to get correct results.

What is the official line direction needed to get the correct results in RailClone?

I have been doing it like this as a rule, in reading direction from top view. I been having issues of models arraying in the opposite direction. I know can reverse the line, but I was wondering if Itoo has a golden rule for the direction of spline creation.

That depends of the selected option in Generator->Clipping Area->Auto align (https://docs.itoosoft.com/railclone/style-editor/2d-arrays-generator-a2s#id-2DarraysGeneratorA2S-clipping):

None: array is aligned with the local axis of the RailClone object (X, Y and Z).
X --> XY: similar to 'None', but Z is perpendicular to the Spline.
To Spline: X axis is aligned with the Spline's first segment (you can use Make first vertex and Reverse spline to modify alignment).
