Load Failed despite an up-to-date library
« on: August 07, 2025, 12:19:43 pm »
Here is the error message.
F11 does not display any information.

I will completely reinstall RailClone and see if the problem is resolved.

This is starting to get tiresome.

Hi,

As mentioned in this related post: "... the latest version of the 'Highway Bridges' package might not be installed. I recommend updating it via the Update Manager."

If no pending installation is shown, please try reinstalling the package using the following steps:
  • Open the Update Manager and go to the View menu → select Installed Packages.
  • Find the package you’d like to reinstall (Bridges) and click the (i) icon.
  • In the Details dialog, click Uninstall.
  • Finally, click the Install button at the bottom of the Update Manager to reinstall it.
I hope that helps.

Best regards,

Which version of RailClone Pro do you currently have installed? The new Highway Bridges were introduced with RailClone 7. However, I've sent you a patch for the previous version via email — I hope that helps.

So I uninstalled and reinstalled RailClone.
This deleted the “Bridges” folder. Perhaps it should have been deleted when I uninstalled the “Bridges” package individually, but it wasn't?
Now I only have the “Highway Bridges” folder.

However, I noticed that uninstalling RailClone alone also uninstalls the ForestPack library.
Is that normal?

That shouldn't happen unless you clicked on Actions > Uninstall All in the Update Manager, as it manages the bundled assets for both of our plugins. Thanks in advance for any further comments on this issue that you can share with us and our user community (in case some users will run into similar troubles).

Sorry, my mistake.
In fact, the FP library is not uninstalled, but when installing RC, the Update Manager asks to reinstall all libraries (even those from FP that are up to date).

Is it normal ?

As mentioned previously, this shouldn’t happen after uninstalling and reinstalling the plug-in, but it could occur if the Uninstall All option in the Update Manager was used.

Sorry to contradict you.
Here's what I did:
- FP and RC installed on Max 2025 and Max 2026
- I only uninstalled RC using the Add/Remove Programs feature in Windows 11
- FP and its libraries are still installed
- I reinstalled RC and the Update Manager asked me to reinstall ALL libraries.

I have never used the Uninstall All option in the Update Manager.

Voilà !

Thanks for your swift reply. With your help, I was able to reproduce this unwanted behavior as well. We’ll look into what can be done to prevent it — our main developers will need to investigate it in more detail. Thanks for your collaboration - your feedback is very important to us.
