change default user librarie path
« on: July 05, 2011, 01:37:01 PM »

We have just bought railclonepro with network licences and I'm preparing deployment.
All is ready, installation and registry for default library path, but I can't find where (in registry, ini, xml etc) is the default location for user library path. I know I can edit it in max, but I don't want to have to, I want to deploy it, and next time a user start max, railcone is there with all configured (no user error then !).

railcone library is ever on the network (HKLM registry), so where can I change User's Libraries path without lauching max ?

The library path configuration is stored on registry keys, for system libraries (blue folders, read only):

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Itoo Software\Forest Pack Pro\LibraryDir]
"Forest Library"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Itoo Software\\Forest Pack Pro\\lib"

And for User's libraries,  (blue folders, user editable):

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Itoo Software\Forest Pack Pro\LibraryDir]
"User's Libraries"="C:\\Users\\daniel\\Documents\\Forest Pack\\libs"

You can add any number of folders (local or network) in both keys, the only difference it is the read only setting for the system ones.
