rotation to follow faces
« on: July 30, 2012, 03:38:33 PM »
I don't know maybe I simply don;t know how to set it up but maybe if railclone doesn't have this function it might be good one. Basically let's say I want to create zipper. I have a shoe and path that the zipper will follow. But place on the shoe where zipper will be placed is a bit bended in different axes. And I want the zipper to lay on the faces.
As you can see in some places it follows and some it's too deep inside the faces:

No, unfortunately there is not a simple way to achieve it.

We will try to add this feature to the new RailClone. In fact, we are working on similar functionalities right now.
