Tooltip Showing Spline Used
« on: May 04, 2012, 06:10:40 PM »
This is one for the wishlist.

In the spline picking button within RCP, it shows the name of the spline that is being used to make the RailClone.  This is fine except my naming conventions frequently make long names and the complete name does not show on the button.  It would be good if when hovering the mouse over the spline button, a tooltip would show the complete name of the spline being used.  (I frequently can't tell which spline is being used on the current RailClone object).

For example, because the name is cropped off on the button, I can't tell if I'm currently using:

RC_combined_level_uphill_path_SPLINE_A
or
RC_combined_level_uphill_path_SPLINE_B
or
RC_combined_level_uphill_path_SPLINE_C

Thanks!
Sincerely,

Mike Truly

I don't know if Max supports this behaviour, because it handles directly the pick buttons. We will take a look to it.

By the way... you can select the spline directly from the viewport, with the RC object selected and clicking "Right Menu->Select RailClone Spline"

Thanks Carlos... I didn't realize this.

Thanks again.
