Wishlist 2
« on: November 17, 2010, 07:47:34 PM »
Hello

I have just bought RailClone Pro and I must say that I love the plugin, very nice job you did on this one, makes my life so much simpler and the price was very good for me as a private home user.

Something I wish for is maybe a bigger library of files to be used, you have about 80 now, but most of them are fences and handrails. I wish there was more roads, different types of lights, maybe objects to create bridges, tunnels and so on?

Also, one feature that I read will be added is T-junctions, very welcome feature so you can build crossings and so on.

That is all I can come to think of right now, but keep working on this plugin and add more features to it, it's a very great plugin!

Regards
Stefan

Hello,

Thanks for using RailClone, i'm glad that you find it useful.  ;)

On the first version, we have included only a basic set of items to the Library, to show the capabilities of the plugin. But yes, we have plans to improve it with new models. This includes also new applications for RailClone, that we have in mind.

Hello

That sounds really good to me, really looking forward to see more models and other features for it.
When you say that this also includes "new applications" for RailClone that you have in mind, what is that? Features within the plugin itself or stand alone plugins that works side by side with RailClone?

Well, i mean other uses of RailClone besides Architecture or Civil Engineering, as parametric furnitures (shelves, cabinets...) and so. This is relative to models and libraries, another issue is the new features for the plugin itself.

Anyways, we have not a full defined roadmap for RailClone. Since it's a new plugin, it will evolve with the suggestions and experience of our users.
