Clipping Spline by Material ID

Hi,
I guess R&D team already had a similar idea, but if not:

Since we have Hierarchy Checking by Mat ID on Extended Area how about to limit Clipping Spline by MAT ID with separate Option for normal X/Y Generator and for L1S generator.
With smart Mat ID distribution, users could have a lot more options.
If a selection could be Comma separated that will be even better.

The image will tell more then words.

Agreed. Added to the wishlist.
Ideally, we should allow to use lists in all Mat ID checkings, not only at Clipping Spline.

Anyway, there are problems to keep compatiblity with existing scenes, which we must check.
Because actually the Mat.ID is an integer value, which can be exported and connected to a Numeric parameter. I'm not sure how to convert them to a text list without breaking those links.

Maybe to introduce Spline_Selector Operator  :)
This could be useful as selection mode both for X/Y Splines and Clipping Splines.
We could even have multiple Splines added to the Generator and have the option to select an active one from the Parameter Table.

Hi, i would like to introduce Spline operators in the RC style, for these type of operations.
But we had not time to develeop the idea yet. For next versions, i hope.
