I seems errors are related to these lines in macros:

on IsVisible return (isForestPack $)

AND

on IsVisible return (isRailClone $)

Actually, it turns out, this is a wider issue. Both RC and Forest are simply missing from Max after installing these latest betas.

Sorry to go a little off topic, but on checking the first post, I saw "Max 2019" and it just made me cringe. Makes me wonder..  if this issue is applicable to other versions of Max or is it just a 2019 thing.

I now know the issue.

Forest installed into the current Max BETA version instead of into Max 2019.

Hi, these errors are caused by a missing masxscript used for the "Quad" menu, both in Forest and RailClone.
Specifically the maxscript files are: <max folder>\scripts\Startup\forestpack.ms and railclone_utils.ms.

It would happen in two cases:

1) If the plugin is installed, but for some reason the script is missing or was not exectuted at Max startup.

2) When the plugin is uninstalled, Max keeps a copy of the macroscript used in the Quad menu, even if the plugin was removed correctly.
In this case, you can fix it deleting the macroscript copies, as described here.

Thanks Carlos. I solved by editing my registry to fix the 3ds Max 2019 path which had been changed by a beta install to the incorrect path. Once the path was fixed, reinstalling Forest/RC fixed the problem.
