Hi.
First of all, thank you for all effort on releasing RC4.

about:
A nested segment cannot be `recalculated` to retain Master behaviour and can only be scaled to fit `nested space`

As I can see on first look, Nested Generator should be able to solve this issue but on the first hours of testing, I could not achieve any positive results. Should I try any more or this issue remains on RC4?

Can You please illustrate this with starting scene and what You want to do.

Simple window frame =  Master generator (Xsize&Ysize =100 cm/ simple box segment 10x10x10cm to Start/End/Top/Bottom/Corners)

Second Generator: Extended to Clipping Spline

My Goal to nest Master gen. (window frame) to fit Clipping Spline (usually contain multiple splines) but to retain original 10cm frame  size.

I`ll provide a scene.

Hi

I was not sure what is "Master" what is "Frame" in Your file but I have mocked a simple nesting example.


P.S.
You can't have all the flexibility with Clipping splines. I recommend to avoid them when You can. Sometimes You can't then use it. But then You do lose some flexibility- one of thing You lose is XSplineLength parameter.

Yes, I understand. I was kind of hoping it will be possible to get X/YSplineLength from closed rectangular splines  8) :D.
However!!! With combination XSplineLength + Spline Markers Data now I can easily drive both X & Y size.
Works like a charm. Great job guys!!! Thank you!

Please ignore 1 question (solved by taking full Y Size and subtracting Top/Bottom Ysize)

Nesting generators is a whole new perception of using RC!  We can now beat HoudiniFX users.  8)
