Title: Moving selected nodes while clicking Shift, clone them
Post by: Dragan on February 16, 2023, 12:22:06 PM
Hi, welcome back!  8)
The segment node (orange) will be copied but remain in the same position as the original.

Hi, we cannot reproduce this. Segment nodes are displaced correctly.
Are you cloning a single Segment node, or is it part of the selection with other nodes ?

Now I can see it is working fine with Max2022. Only Max2020 is a problem.
I`ll check .dlls for 2020, and clean up everything.

Nope. I have cleaned up, reinstalled, and still have the same issue.
Even just adding a Segment node on the canvas has a small delay (about 1.5 seconds).
I think it is just my system and since this is the only happens with the Segment nodes I`ll pass it. It is not a critical issue.  ???

Interesting. I just tried with Max 2020 but cannot reproduce it either.

There is a tiny delay (tenths of a second) cloning Segment nodes, because it requires to modify parameters in the Max object, but not as your video.
In my case, i notice exactly the same delay in 2020 and 2023.

Here, I have a really noticeable difference. 2022 is a lot faster, same as yours.
I think something has to do with Windows itself probably. I noticed that Max2020 started up slowly after Widows Update a month or two ago.
But since this is not critical at all, I'll disregard it for now.
