3DS MAX is not my primary tool so I`m bad at mapping but why there is just a single Rotation option un UVW XForm node?
It will be great to have separate U/V/W Rotation options like there is for tile and offset.

Probably it can be done, but i should check the code.
Our UVW Mapping implementation is based in the 3DS Max sample sources. This is the reason we inherited the single rotation (same as the UVW XForm modifier).
Added to the wishlist.

If this could be done that will be a huge improvement for mapping.
We often rotate and scale segments and if we could combine Deform Box Mapping and U/V/W Rotation via UVW Xform that will be a Win-Win situation.

I need to rest awhile (doctor`s order)
+ I`m a little bit late with some projects.
So far I`m very satisfied and grateful for all your effort but I would really like to push this topic to high-level priority. RC is struggling with mapping from the beginning and if you guys could manage to override Max`s UVW Xform and make your own internal with all three U/V/W rotations I think I`ll immediately feel better!!!

We are glad to help, but i'm afraid this will not be ready for RC5.
We are closing features, to not delay the stable release much more. Only fixes and documentation until then.
