At least it will be useful for the Composed Segments to check where the pivot stands, so it would be easier adjusted by additional transforms operators.
Of course, it is not an issue to change the pivot position and I have a simple macro for that (forgot to share it with the community  :-[  will do now), but having a visual pivot will help a lot.

This was already in the wishlist, but we are currently closing features for RC6.
We want to release the stable version in the next weeks.
