Hello everyone,

I've developed a script for RailClone that has been quite beneficial in our architectural projects. Many colleagues who've visited our office have seen it in action and encouraged me to share it with the community.

To give you a better idea of how it works, I’ve created a quick tutorial video which you can view here: Watch the tutorial (link is unlisted on YouTube ). https://youtu.be/oLfBl8T4CCo

I'm eager to hear your thoughts on this script. Do you find it potentially useful? , if you believe this script is valuable, what would you consider a fair price for it?

Looking forward to your insights and suggestions.

Thank you!

RailClone Pro (*) / Re: Array tiling error in one direction

I see. You can account for the size of the bottom and top segments by adjusting the Y Subtract value (in this case, 30 cm does the trick) or by exporting and summing their Y Sizes, as demonstrated in the revised scene.

I hope that helps.

Yeah thank you very much ! It's work well. There is just the upper corner with a little offset, have you any idea why ?

Hi Antoine,

For these purposes, you can use the bundled Scale to Array macro found under the Transforms category. Please find attached the modified version of your scene (240523_ScaleToArray_iToo.max). I hope this helps.

RailClone Pro (*) / Array tiling error in one direction

Hello,

I have a issue with the tiling of my RC. I use RC Slice, and It's working well in the x direction, but it doesn't work in the Y direction as you can see in the printscreen. The Default geometries are tiles and not scaled. I use the option "scale" mode for default segment rule, and it's works only in one direction.
Have you any idea why ?

Best regards,
Antoine

Yes, we are very close.
We only need to make some adjustments to the Ivy samples, and prepare the Update Manager packages.
I check every day with excitement to see if it is already available  ;D

Tutorials / Re: Creating randomised books
« Last post by Michal Karmazín on May 22, 2024, 12:27:23 PM »
We'll see what we can do. In recent versions, for randomization, instead of 'importing' these nested styles as Segments, you should 'combine' these objects into a single style.

I hope that helps.
