Hi!

I'm actually working throug this tutorial..thanks for this good support!

But i'm wondering if it's possible to make the horizontal and vertical shelfboards created by a value(input) i.e. 4xEvenly in X-direction and 2xEvenly in height instead of the input for x/y evenly-distance ? I'm trying to do so but it won't work.

Do you have any idea how to do this?

Thanks in advance.
Robert

Hi Robert,

Currently the only way to control the spacing of evenly segments is using the Distance parameter. However an alternative "Count" mode in in the works and should be available in the next release.

Many thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,
Curious if there is any way to have parametric shelves with books or random objects included on them so they don't have to be added separately.

thanks!

Hi Jeremy,

Sure, there's no reason why you couldn't just combine the techniques shown in the shelving tutorial with those from the books tutorial in a single style. You'd just need to wire together the parameters so that both styles use the same shelf height width values.

Cheers,

Paul
