Hello
I'm trying to update this script in order to use it on curved buildings  -  top edge of window is Spline used to clone blinds randomly
I have some difficulties  here - please check max file attached - something went wrong with Offset and Default segment not scaling properly

Would appreciate to any help and explanation

Thanks

Hi,
I've got stuck in the arithmetic expression moment. Railclone gives me error and I totally don't know how to do it right.  :'(
I'm attaching the screenshot hoping that someone knows how to fix that

Thanks for the message,

Apologies for that, RailClone has been updated since the tutorial was recorded. It is now necessary to add Return before the expression and terminate the line with a semi-colon. So the expressions should now read:

return YSplineLength*(Input1/100);

I hope that helps,

Paul

Hi*,

I adapted the tutorial to make my own blinds, which works pretty well
then I tried to add the possibility to modify the Y-evenly (sticks_spacing in my model).  ::)
But it seems not to be compatible with this method/tutorial, I can only get one to work, not both  :-\

Is there something I didn't quite get ?  ???

*I'm not sure if it is the right place to post (feel free to redirect me).

Yeah, blinds were an issue for me as well so I made a Makro to solve as many variations as possible.

Yes, I saw your macro, but it's "only" for venetian/blade store ;). It hardly seems applicable for my "stick" blinds  ???

Hi,
if you provide me with a model and some inputs about parameters and acting maybe I could make some similar Macro for you.

You are too generous 8)!  But I dont really need this parameter (Y-envly). ::) It is purely out of curiosity, Ijust love to know "if" and "how" it is possible ;D

Anyway, if you wanna give it  a go, here is the file.
