Title: Clipping and curved question

Hi all,

Im turning around. I have a clipping area with a simple linear node.

An object has to follow a path and a spline is used for the clipping area. Main problem i don't understand why the top of the object is sliced and not simply resized in height.

Any clues would be helpful.

Hi,

The Clipping Area feature clips/slices geometry - it doesn't resize/scale it. To scale these panels, a different setup is required. The approach in the “Follow Spline but deform to ground (https://forum.itoosoft.com/railclone-pro-(*)/follow-spline-but-deform-to-ground/)” thread might suit your needs. hello,

thank you for the feedback. I guess i'll do it in archicad. No point to complicated a simple process.
