How to avoid Overlaping
(1/1)
Flowpoint:
Hi,
I have a serious issue with overlapping in my RailClone project. I didn't notice it initially, but after reviewing the project, I found that overlapping is a significant problem. Not sure why, but RailClone shouldn't do that by default; overlapping creates problems. Is there a way to review the project or a tool within RailClone that can help identify where overlapping is occurring?
I tried slice check but in some cases it leave a hole or doen't work and when using Start / End inputs it does a overlapping. but you have to know because in wireframe mode you can not tell.
Thank you for your help
Michal Karmazín:
Hi,
There isn’t an internal tool specifically for detecting overlapping faces within RailClone. However, you can add an Edit Poly modifier to your RailClone object and then use the xView > Overlapping Faces feature to identify any overlapping faces. As it's really hard to say, what's happening exactly in your scene just from the provided description, if possible, please feel free to send us your scene (ideally simplified and containing just this problematic object(s)). Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
