Importing .xfr xfrog trees into 3dsmax scene using Forest Pro
« on: December 05, 2013, 03:23:19 PM »
I have just purchased Forest Pro as I would like to use it to import .xfr xfrogplants into my 3dsmax 2014 scene.

Is it posssible.

If so how do I set up the installation path as it keeps coming up with an error box  "The selected directory doesnt contain XfrogPlants library"

Thank you

To use the XFrogCatalog you should use the .max version of the xFrogPlants. This add-on needs to found the plants in the same directory structure and naming scheme as found in the libraries.

If you experience some problem detecting some specific library, please tell us what XFrog package is to check it.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Is there no way of using the .xfr, or even converting them to max using your software?

TIA

The .xfr models are a proprietary format and only can be used with the XFrog plant generator. For questions about it, please contact with XFrog Inc.

If you convert them to .max it only can be used as any Custom Object by Forest Pack. Our catalogs are intended to be used with the naming scheme and file organization provided with the XFrog libraries for 3dsmax . If you purchased a XFrog library, please contact with XFrog customer support for an updated copy.
