rendering from another machine that does not have plug-in installed?

I am playing around with animations using the forest pack lite.  Can I set this to render on another machine that does not have the plug-in installed, or do I need to export/package my file, or do I just need to install the plug-in on the other computer?  Just curious.

Yes, the plugin must be installed to open or render the scenes.

Forest Pro includes a tool to convert the items to Max instances, so the plugin is not required. But once converted, you loose all the Forest benefits and the render performance is much worse compared with the native mode.

Thank you! So once I install the plug-in on the other computer I can just open my Max Scene there and all the information should translate?
