tree material problem

i have watched tutorials. but i have a problem with "tree 1" material.

this material doesn't appear in my material browser. i open the browser and select "mtl editor", but that material doesn't appear.

help please..

Please, post a screenshot of the material editor. I'm not sure what may be the problem, i just verified the tutorial scene and it seems correct...

What Max version are you using ?

i use max 2009.

The tutorial must be completed using the scene tut1.max, which includes the "tree 1" material. There is a link to the file at the beggining of the tutorial.

If you are creating you own scenes, Forest Lite includes some sample plants as well. Click on the "Library" button (Geometry rollout) to use them.
