Creating a snake skin

I could really use your help, whats the best approach for me to achieve something like this with forest pack?

Hi, it may be done just scattering the scales over a UV Surface. As shown here, the image was picked from the Surfaces documentation:

Thanks a lot for the reply, the document is very helpful.

I've created the skin scales, and it works perfectly on a flat surface. Once I apply it to an S shaped snake body, The scales are distributed properly, except they are all straight, how can I make it rotate on the XY axis following the same flow of the snake body?

Hi,

For that purpose you should turn on UV Transform. It'll rotate the objects to follow the UV coordinates.
