Density and scale fallof problems while excluding an object
« on: November 16, 2023, 03:19:40 PM »
Hello,

I'm trying to make density/scale fallof of some grasses. In the same forest i have some concrete tiles that are exluded.
I use an include spline for the overall include area. And an Exclude spline at one side to have the effect that i want. So far so good. ( Printscreen 01)

If i try to exlude the concrete tiles however, the fallof does not show corectly and looks very jagged. (Printscreen 02)

Does someone has an idea to fix this?
Could not include max file right now because of the maximum total size of the attachements.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Please try changing the Resolution value of the Object Area to see if there is any difference. Also, although the Falloff parameters are "global", you can try changing the order of these areas. If that doesn't help, if possible, please feel free to send us your scene (ideally simplified and containing just this problematic object(s)). Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Hi,

I did try the Resolution and changing the order of the areas but did didn't seem to work. I've just sent a mail to the helpdesk with my max file included.

King regards,
