Forest Pack Error Help

Hello,

Im recieving an error "Forest Pack is compiled for Arnold 7.1.1, and is not compatible with the current renderer".

Currently Running:

3ds Max: 2022
MaxtoA: 5.6.4.2 Released Aug 30, 2023
Arnold Version: 7.2.3.2
Forest Pro 8.0.6

Im on Forest Pro 8.0.6 because thats the last update I was eligble for before my maintenance license expired. Is my issue that my arnold version superseeds the 7.1.1?

Hi,

That's it. Forest 8.0.6 was compiled with Arnold 7.1.1, and is not compatible with latest MaxToA, which uses Arnold 7.2.
You must download an older MaxToA which used Arnold 7.1.x, from their archive page.

You can check what Arnold version is included with each MaxToA package in the 3DS Max release notes.
In this case, MAXtoA 5.5.x should be fine.

Thank you, I rolled my arnold version back and it worked.
