Cement segment in-between edging bricks

I have setup some edging bricks to follow a spline.
The bricks have padding adjustments & a null in the corner option to create a realistic corner affect.

The problem arises when I try to add cement in-between the bricks. In some corners the cement segment is visible on the end & the cement segment is missing from the first object at the start of the next run (see image).

Hopefully this is a simple fix & I'm just not seeing the wood for the trees.

EDIT: This was in fact a simple fix. I just merged the parts together adjusted the pivot so the cement always appeared on the left (eg first) & then no extra work was required.
