ForestPackLOD not showing in render

Hi,

I've set it up as in the attached .max file and with a simple set of LOD objects which look fine in the viewport. But when I render in V-ray 3.203 it just renders the first LOD object all the way to the back.

I'm using 3ds max 2016 with SP2 and Forest 4.4.1 on Windows 7 64bit SP1.

Thanks for any advice?

Hi,

As this feature enables you to switch objects based on distance from the camera, any camera needs to be properly assigned. Please see attached screen-shot.

If wanted, you can use the pivot point of the object assigned in the Look-At Target slot as the origin for the Max Distance measurements (to enable it, select the Use Look-At Target check-box). This allows you to separate the camera and origin used for all LOD calculations.
