Itoo Freezing

I am currently working with growfx and forst pack pro. I have created a tree with about 4 million polygons which is pretty OK i think.

When i convert the tree to a mesh and try and scatter it with forst pack, it freezes. (I dont have the patients to wait more the 10 mins.) If i convert the mesh to a vray proxy, it works fine.

Any ideas? Is this tree too high poly for forest pack? Whats is the limit if that is the case?

We've done some additional testing with very high poly-count trees (as you can see on attached screenshot, even with 22 miliion polygon mesh it's working fine) and it take slightly more time that when using proxies, but even though it should take you seconds to load that geometry, not minutes. Would you specify used 3ds Max / Forest Pack / renderer versions? Thanks in advance.
