« on: May 12, 2022, 02:34:57 PM »
Hi,

I have a rgb jpg map with R G B Y Pink area on it.

Surface selected is a mesh
There is an unwarp channel 1 for the match color ID on Map
Forest Object are R G B Y Pink ID relatively to the wanted ditribution zones.
Use color ID is check in the display section

Is there a bug? im pretty sure im missing something but i cannot figured out what i'm actually missing.

Hi!

Thanks for the question. Are you able to share a simplified scene so we can better diagnose the problem?

Thanks,
Paul

Thanks!

There are two things. First you'll need to enable the Surface in the Areas rollout and then you need to add additional items to the geometry list to match the other colours. If you want these areas to be blank, just set them to Disabled.

I hope that helps.

Sadly not - loading a preset will always replace the current one because it includes more than just geometry. A preset includes all the other FPsettings too including distribution settings, transforms etc. You can however load individual objects.

To combine geometry from multiple presets if they're not available in the library separately you could always load them into separate FP objects and go through the process shown below.
