Max 2024 compatibility
« on: March 30, 2023, 05:44:40 PM »
Ha ha, didnt take long. Any ball park idea on how long it will take to get FP and RC working with Max 2024? Assuming it doesnt out of the tin? I've not tried. Some good tools in this update for once. Thanks

Hi,

We have the code ready for Max 2024, but using beta versions of Max and V-Ray.
So as usual, we'll need some days until ChaosGroup release their stable version, get our licenses of Max 2024, test everything, etc.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully that will happen soon. I've not tried but there are some Corona users saying so far so good with them. Could you offer a use at your own risk beta if everything is working at your end so we dont have to wait for v-ray?

I'm sorry, but our beta is not ready for public use. We must make some changes to the installers yet.

Hi, I'm not in a hurry for the new version for 2024. I'm just wondering if there have been any problems with it. More for our further assessment whether to switch to 2024 from 2022. Because if something has changed in the 3ds max core, it means more problems for other plugins as well. That's something we'd like to avoid. So just for information, you usually have the new FP/RC for the new version of max ready earlier. Thanks

Hi, we had some minor issues related with changes in the SDK, but it's already solved.

We're making the final tests. Hopefully all updates will be published tomorrow.
