No Vray materials for some Forest Pack V9 library elements

Hello,

after installing the last version of Vray 7 and the last version of Forest Pack V9 I have a problem with some Library elements. Sadly 3dsmax says they do not have a valid Vray material and they get loaded as standart materials. They where loading with vray materials before update:


No vray materials for:
-Lawns
-Meadows

Hi,

As I can see, the path to these assets is not the "default" one. Can you please specify the folder you have mapped within the Library Browser (a screenshot of the from File - Preferences... > Library Browser Options > Library Paths would be ideal)? In your case, it should be the following one:

W:/02_3D-ABTEILUNG_Forestpack/lib

If you have mapped another folder, modifying the path to this one should fix it. Also, please double-check that your "folder structure" corresponds - the matlib folder should be located under the same folder as the library (lib folder, maps and effects folders) - in your case

W:\02_3D-ABTEILUNG_Forestpack

thank you for the quick response

The ones that do not have Vray materials are:
-Lawns
-Meadows

I attached another one. On the Path where we have the library on the network, there is one file named forestlib.ms bur there is NO folder named /lib. The file is kind of old, maybe is that the problem?

All bundled libraries should be stored within their corresponding folder, with the /lib folder as the parent. Adjusting the folder structure accordingly should resolve the issue.

Ok, so I downloaded everything again Local in my computer. When I use my local lybrary everything works fine.

What should I copy to our network path?
all the four folders from the screenshoot (effects, lib, maps, matlib) or just the folder named /Lib?

All of these folders with the corresponding hierarchy. The best approach would be to modify the registry entries directly, as outlined here, and the Update Manager will handle the installation automatically. I hope this helps.
