A bit difficult to explain with words, but you can see the issue on the two screenshots below.

Here you can see the Tint map in action with one texture map in FPColor map

and this is what happens when I do not use the default Map in the FP color map. Impossible to have a variation between textures.

I m using the latest version of FP (6.1.2) and Vray Next GPU (4.02.04). And the tree model is from Evermotion.

I also encountered the same issue when I tried to follow your ten second tip on making an autumn tree coverage: https://www.itoosoft.com/tensecondstips/autumn-leaves?back=level%3DTenSeconds%26page%3D2
I can add a mix map on the color tint, but it stops working as soon as I add two textures variations. Is it a Vray GPU Next limitation?

Here is an example following your 10 second tip tutorial.

So I created a mix map with a FP color map in the first slot, and a red color on the second slot.
Note that there is only one orange texture attached to the FP color map.

It works fine. Until I decide to add texture wihich is NOT DEFAULT to the FP color map, and the red color of the mix map disappears.

The problem is connected to the texture though. Because I can add a color tint to my FColor map without problem. The red is still there.

Edit: the Mix between different FPColor maps work on Vray Next but not Vray GPU Next unfortunately.
