Reference + Effects

Hi.
I`m using RC for distribution simple triangle colored in RED, BLUE & GREEN.
Next, I`m using FP to distribute some elements using Reference mode.

Q. Is it possible to write Effects to place elements by matching Geometry Color IDs with the Reference color (Generated by RC)?

Hi Dragan. Unfortunately this is not possible currently. We have some ideas to make it happen. Thanks for the indication of what You think is needed.
Thanks for ideas and keep them coming.

You can use G-Buffer ID of each reference node but these set per object basis not per RC element as You request.

Hi Rokas, thank you for the quick reply.
I kinda hoped that I will see more parameters for Object input in Effect editor. As I can see there is only position revealed. If MatID could be used maybe it will be possible to do some more?
I`m sure RC4 with new material management will do the job.
