reference mode problem (it's placing two objects)
« on: September 23, 2023, 08:53:36 AM »
I'm having problem with reference mode. I want to place one object per face but it's placing two objects.
What I'm doing wrong?

Hi Lukasz,

Forest Pack uses triangle faces - each quad has two triangle faces, but by default, 3ds Max hides the shared edge (you can see the triangles by turning off the Edges Only option in the object properties). This method is used because all meshes can be converted to triangle faces, but not all can be transformed into quads.

I hope that clears it up.

Best regards,
