URGENT before Christmas - Forest license problem
« on: December 22, 2011, 05:49:57 PM »
Hi

We are running some large projects over the christmas/new year period, and have just started getting license problems when using ForestPro.

We have 3 licenses and only 3 workstations, so I am not sure where the problem lies. I attach a screengarb. Could anybody help before offices close please?
Kind Regards,
Rich

This error happens when the license is not updated to the latest subscription date. To fix it, you must enter in the License Server the authorization code that you received with the subscription renewal, and activate it (the same process as adding a new license). Once activated, you can check the subscription date selecting the license and clicking "Details".

For your convenience, i just sent to you by e-mail a new authorization code.

PD: i will check periodically the support e-mail and forum at holidays, to attend urgent cases, if any.

Hi

I've run through this but I get the same problem. I have 3x RC licenses and 3x FP licenses. 2 of the FP licenses expire on 08/05/2012 and one has license expire(d) 10/08/2011. Could it be that When we try to have our 3 workstations editing FP objects, one of them is failing because of this expiry date?

Kind Regards
Richard

Yes, that's the problem. One of the workstations is taking the expired license. I just sent you the license code to update it.

PD: the license is not really expired, but it is valid only to run versions of Forest released before 10/08/2011.
