Lister crash
« on: September 03, 2024, 06:44:36 PM »
Hi
I dont know if this error has been reported and has been already fixed
I havent update to the latest beta build because of my subscription has ended Im using FP 9.0.7b in Max 2025
So what happens is that Im turning off a forest object, check the listr to turn it on again, the lister window appears totally broken and if I refresh 3ds max crash
I upload an image showing the case and a pair of minidumps
Hope this helps.

Hi,
No, this problem has not been reported. In fact, we're doing some tests but we're unable to reproduce it.

Do you turn off the Forest object in the Display rollout, or how exactly ?

Ohhh now it happens with Vray, so its very random.

All I simply do is
-Open Lister (turn off/on doesnt matter at all)
-Close Lister
-Reopen lister
-Now the window has issues
-Use buttons
-Crash :P

Maybe my scene has an issue, this didnt happen before.
I attach a sample from a Corona file and a Vray File.
I cannot attach the scene its too large, so heres a link from Drive.
Hope this helps.

We tried on several computers, but we could not to reproduce this.

It's a strange issue, because it has not been reported by other customers.
What other plugins and scripts do you use ? Perhaps some of them is causing problems with the Lister.

Indeed its very odd
This is only happening in this scene with max 2025

The plugins that im using are

Vray 6.20
Corona 12.1
Phoenix 5.22
GrowFX 2.0.1
RailClone 6.2.2b
Sini Plugins 2.0.0
BerconMaps
Floor Generator
Multitexture
TyFlow

Im testing in Max 2024 with all the same plugins/scripts and its not happening there, could it be something related to that?

Those plugins are pretty standard. I doubt they're causing the issue.
And theorically there is not difference between Max 2024 and 2025 in relation to the Lister.

Unfortunately we need to reproduce the problem to fix it.
