SplineOffset weirdness
« on: May 17, 2021, 12:29:34 PM »
When using SplineOffset with the 2D mode the vertices of the generated splines all lie on a grid with spacing 1. This gives undesirable results, see the 1st attached image. As an example I used an arc but it does this with any spline.

When using the 3D mode it does seem to work, but then the 'end type' cannot be set. See 2nd image.

I don't see others having this problem. Is this some setting that i've missed?

It might happen as illustrated in small scale splines. like 10cm or smaller.
You can work in bigger scale and resize the spline.
There are some limitations with both Modes 2d and 3d. We hope it can be useful for You as it is.
