A snake-like shape
« on: January 16, 2025, 09:32:37 AM »
Hi!
I am making a snake-like shape, but in some curved places, there are some tearing of the model, and it is not gradually rotated and twisted like the reference picture (like the red line in picture B). How can I improve it? Attached is the max file, please help me check it, thank you!

Hi,

Increasing Style > Curve Steps in combination with enabling Center Alignment seems to resolve the issue. I've attached the modified scene (250116_A_ITOOSOFT.max).

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Thank you very much! But how can I make it rotate and twist like the reference picture?

You're welcome. To adjust the banking, add the RC Spline modifier to the Base Object (Line001), then introduce some Banking Gizmos and tweak them as needed. I hope this helps.

Best regards,
