After a transform, there are empty parts of the clipping area.
« on: February 22, 2017, 05:06:19 PM »
Hello,

Quick question. I have been using railclone for ceiling tiles (I have followed the Itoo tutorial).

However, I now want to transform the sequence so I can align the ceiling tiles to different walls. I add a transform node between the sequence and the default nodes, and apply the X and Y translations, but there are areas to the bottom and left which are now empty. I can't figure out how to fill these areas.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Dean

Hi Dean,

Before applying your transform, increase the Expand property found in the Clipping Area settings. This will make the array larger than the size of the spline so should give you some space to wiggle around the position of the tiles. Actually you may find the expand property is all you need to align the tiles correctly.

I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any further questions.

Many Thanks,

Paul
