Attaching (linking) external elements to RC subelements??

Is it possible in some way to attach (link) external parts (elements that are not part of a RC Setup) to a RC element?
In my case it is a hose endpoint I want to attach to a certain point on a RC element, that can change position.
The problem is, that when you link something, it's done by the pivot points, - and the pivot point can be far from the point you want to attach the external element.
Any ideas - suggestions?

Would it be an idea for you guys to develop something, maybe some kind of internal helper point that could be reached externally?
