Can´t link spline with RC spline modifier on.

Hello all.

I am trying to link objects inside 3dsmax for an animation job, and splines with RC spline modifier on can´t be linked. Can anyone replicate the issue and let me know how it can be solved?

Hi,

Thanks for reporting this issue, I can reproduce it here when using the Select and Link tool. I'll pass it on to our development team for investigation. In the meantime, there are a couple of workarounds. You can cut the RCSpline modifier from the stack, use the Select and Link tool to create your hierarchy, and then paste the modifier back into the stack; alternatively, you can create the linked hierarchy using the Scene Explorer window instead. Both these seemed to work OK in my tests.
