Curtain Wall - simple question yet puzzling

I want to do a curtain wall along a spine, I use a single segment that could be slighlty deformed.

But the corners aligned to the vertices (in blue diamonds for clarity)

I use the Adaptative method but it doesn't align



When I add en empty segment in corner... The whole thing aligns but it stops bending the segments



How to remove the gap, or just align the first solution with the vertices ?

FYI, the whole facade is elliptic, but the number and size of the frames are defined by the architects plans.

Hi,

The issue with adaptive is that it disables corner bevelling and so gaps appear. Instead, please try the following. It works by scaling each segment to fit between the vertices while using Tile mode.

- Change Default mode to Tile
- Change Bevel mode to Reset
- Wire the facade segment to a Transform operator and turn on Fixed Size
- Export X Fixed Size
- Wire this to an Arithmetic operator and set the mode to Expression
- Enter XSectionLength in the expression

Thanks a lot Paul, I was sure the solution had to involve some expression !

The only problem is that the segment no longer deforms but adds a triangle on each corner (actually a mirrored piece of the segment), while the adaptative method did the deformation exactly as I wanted.

I understand that corner bevelling in't available in adaptative mode but it would be a nice feature to add, at least the possibility to align the segments on the vertices.
