Expressions are not being evaluated, even simple ones. What am I doing wrong?

One constant is int 1, another one is int 2.

I mean without being connected to generator. As I would like to set some expression without altering my array, and when I'm satisfied, connect it further.

For optimization reasons, nodes which don't participate in the Style are not evaluated.

I will check if we can fix it.
Meanwhile, you could connect the Arithmetic node to a non-critical input, while testing (i.e. Generator->UVW->Offset Z).
