Fixed vs random rotation issue
« on: February 20, 2020, 08:43:12 AM »
Hi. Please check this for me.
Random Z rotation is affected by the next Transform Y_45 deg node (Fixed Z rotation work as expected).
I target all values to 60deg just for the test to see what is going on when switching between FIxed and Random Z rotation.
The real situation is about vine bottles  (rotating bottle for Labels on Z-axis and after that rotate the whole bottle to accommodate shelf angle).
I know the Generator X rotation will do the job but this will go further with Macro Generator/2D stack and individual rotation may be needed so I need to know is this a bug or normal behaviour.
Thank you.
Best Regards

Hi Dragan,
This is known intentional feature. You can choose which transform behavior You want by either going fixed (chained RC4), or random (accumulated RC3).

Ah, so random remains accumulated in RC4. Got it.
Exported Z-fixed & random parameter with Segment mode works fine.
Thank you for clarify this to me.
Best Regards.
