Round sitting
« on: January 04, 2022, 09:17:36 AM »
Hello,

I'm having trouble using railclone to create a circular bench as below and get a clean geometry. The idea is to create a parametric sized element, wich I could decide more or less the size (here 20cm) that can adapt itself to repeat itself and fit the whole circle without breaking. (and become 20,1 or 20,3 cm if needed, for exemple). I tried with various methods but failed to achieve a clean result. Any help appreciated.

Hi,

This can happen when the base spline is insufficiently smooth to create nice seamless deformation. You can override the number of curve steps in RailClone using the parameter found in the style rollout.

I hope that helps,

Paul
