Layered Random Buildings
« on: August 08, 2020, 11:47:41 AM »
Hi,

I have just bought the latest version of Rail Clone Pro and I am a beginner with this tool. I was wondering if it is possible to create complex layered building structures much like the Flavelas in Brazil or an Arabic Kasbah. I have attached some images to illustrate what I am trying to create. If any body could advise on a good approach to achieving this it would be much appreciated.

Hi.
Unfortunately this usecase is not the direct purpose of RailClone plugin.

We acknowledge that RC comes with a much steeper learning curve than Forest Pack. In an effort to help users get acquainted with RailClone, we have an ongoing series of tutorials you may find helpful, and detailed documentation.
I would recommend you to check our RailClone "Getting Started with RailClone" followed by our "Next Steps with RailClone" guides too.

Feel free to visit our forums and see questions and examples posted here.
And last but not least if You have trouble creating styles- please attach Your starting file(save with the lowest max version You so more people can open Your file and offer their suggestions), reference what You are building and we will try to help You.
