Master Style performance
« on: November 15, 2022, 06:38:41 PM »

So recently I've started testing a workflow that uses the Master Style, to propagate the style to circa 20 other RailClones.
Is there any reason why acquiring a style from the master takes ages in comparison to simple copying of that style without using the Master Style feature?
I've tried it with "Copy Material" checked and unchecked.

Also I find it very slow to work with when you change one parameter in the master style and it immediately updates all the children (regardless of whether the Auto Build is check or not), which again, takes ages. It would be great to have an option to manually update the children via Build button and the instant update only active when having Auto Build turned on in the Display Rollout.

Best Regards,

Hi Przemek,

As it's really hard to say, what's happening exactly in your scene just from the provided description, if possible, please feel free to send us your scene (ideally simplified and containing just this problematic object(s)) to to check it here. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
