Don't know if it's already on the wish list, but using a railclone array output as a segment, all inside the editor.

I just tried that before... with my problemati curved patterned facade...
It seems to work if you add a previous RC-Object as an segment into a new RC-object. Still its a Sollution with 2 RC Object instead all in one...

Yes, you can assign a RailClone object as a segment. In fact, there are specific options for nested objects as
Segment->Deform->Nest
.
The only drawback is that the inner object is handled as a mesh by the instancing engine (their individual segments cannot be instanced). In some cases, this may be less efficient that using an array (where each piece can be instanced).
