Pavement linear issues.
« on: January 18, 2024, 04:40:38 PM »
Hi,

I am trying to get this pavement right with crop kerbs on the corners. I find that sometimes this works and sometimes it throws up loads of issues, just depending on the length/shape of the spline. I have attached the max file below. If you move the vertex's you'll see the railclone object starts doing strange things. I cant work out whats causing it! Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Troy

Hi Troy,

To fix it, you can assign the "Corner" vertex type to vertices where the Fillet Radius feature is being applied, and the "Bezier" type to the next vertices. Please find attached the modified scene (240119_RailcloneIssue_iToo.max), where I have applied these changes within the Edit Spline modifier applied to the "Pavement spline". I hope that helps.

Best regards,

Thanks so much for the great support. It's always something silly!
